Mais la vedette de YouTube connue sous le nom de NikkieTutorials a lancé un merveilleux mouvement pour dénoncer ceux qui se plaisent à condamner les femmes qui se maquillent clamant que c’est une façon de cacher leurs insécurités, non pas pour le plaisir, tout simplement.

Sa vidéo virale, nommée The Power Of Makeup, soit le pouvoir du maquillage, veut transmettre le message que les femmes ne devraient pas avoir honte de se maquiller. De voir le maquillage comme un plaisir, pas comme un objet de malaise.

Depuis, le mot-clic #ThePowerOfMakeup est devenu viral et des centaines d’utilisateurs se sont mis à partager des photos d’eux le visage à moitié maquillé, pour prouver qu’ils n’ont pas peur de se montrer sans maquillage.
